The objectives of the Wisconsin Chapter of SFPE shall be to advance the art and science of fire protection engineering and its allied fields, to maintain a high ethical standard among its members, and to foster fire protection engineering education.
The Wisconsin Chapter is comprised of designers, reviewers, public and private sector code consultants, code enforcement and insurance agency representatives along with the ever growing college students. We welcome anyone sharing the same interest in the application of science, engineering principles and experience to protect people and their environments from the destructive effects of fire.
Bi-monthly dinners meetings, usually featuring a technical presentation relating to fire protection engineering, are scheduled from September through June each year. The Chapter also hosts an annual Symposium in the fall.

There are seven grades of membership: Fellow, Honorary, Professional Member, Associate, Affiliate, Allied Professional and Student Member. Qualifications for each grade are stated on the membership application form, which is available from the Society or from this chapter’s Membership committee chairman.
